  Internet Law

Because the Internet is a new technology, Internet law is an area of law still in the early phases of development. Because the court has few historical Internet-related cases to which it can look when making decisions, judges must adapt preexisting legal frameworks for use in court rulings related to the Internet. A number of attorneys now specialize in Internet law, helping clients with cases related to website trademarks and intellectual property rights, spam, file sharing, and more.
